About Mohegan Sun

Mohegan Sun, one of the most spectacular entertainment, gaming, dining and shopping destinations in North America, will host the 2016 Barrett-Jackson Northeast Auction for visitors from around the world.

Travel Tips

The closest airports to Mohegan Sun are Bradley International Airport in Hartford, CT (59 miles) and T.F. Green International Airport in Providence, RI (51 miles). Travel time from the airports to Mohegan Sun is about one hour.  

Uncasville is about 46 miles away from the closest major city – Hartford, CT. It’s about 107 miles from Boston and 133 miles from New York City.

Mohegan Sun is located on the Mohegan Reservation, a Native American reservation in the woods of Connecticut. In order to get around and explore the surrounding area, you will need a car. There is a local bus line, but it has very limited service.

The weather in Uncasville is very nice in late June. The high temperatures usually fall in the upper 70’s to low 80’s with the lows in the upper 50’s to low 60’s. You should see plenty of sunshine!
