Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas 2018 Beginner's Guide
Navigating around the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino can seem daunting at first, but it doesn't have to be with this handy map by your side. The layout is actually quite linear, and this map marks every important marker that you need to know to enjoy your weekend. If you're attending with Barrett-Jackson VIP Experiences, make sure to mark down where your hospitality suite is located and the BJV Experiences help desk is!

If you've purchased your Official Ticket Package through Barrett-Jackson VIP Experiences, then you have the option to get your bidder's badge through us. If your bidder's badge application is approved, we will provide it with your materials. Buying through Barrett-Jackson VIP Experiences does not guarantee approval, however. If approved through us, then you can have your badge sent to your home before the event, or pick it up at the our help desk prior to the auction.
Getting there Early
This comes down to personal preference and why you are attending the auction, but I would recommend getting to the show early in the morning. Gates open Thursday through Saturday at 8 AM and the memorabilia auction will start around 8:30 AM and run through 11 AM every morning. Getting to the venue early gives you the option to see some really cool memorabilia be auctioned off, while also getting to freely walk around the arena and surrounding areas with less of a crowd around you. The crowds normally start to pile in right as the collector car auction begins at around 11 AM.
Most Expensive Cars
A Barrett-Jackson auction works like an inverted pyramid when it comes to the auction prices of the cars being sold. Thursday's selection will feature the lowest priced vehicles, while Friday and Saturday are considered the "richest" days — you won't believe some of the auction prices that you'll see on Saturday! So if you're trying to just go for a day or two, wait for the weekend, but if you're staying the whole time, be ready to see the prices and entertainment skyrocket.
Just Enjoy the Action
There's a certain informality to a Barrett-Jackson event that really makes it a joy to be a part of. The auction and showrooms themselves are very well structured, but as a guest you are allowed to wander and explore at your own pleasure. With an auction that runs throughout the entire day, you're allowed time to roam the grounds and soak up every bit of what the Las Vegas event has to offer. Make sure you definitely take time to explore. While the auction is the main event action, there's still things to see and do, including the amazing Thrill Rides that are offered.
