Heading out to Barrett-Jackson® Las Vegas at the end of the month?
If you're like us, you're just as concerned about what to pack clothes-wise for your upcoming trip as you are about what you'll do in Las Vegas. Well don't worry, we have got you covered.
While packing for a trip can seem daunting, Barrett-Jackson is the type of event that alleviates stress from the get-go. You don't need to pack five fancy outfits, but rather can dress for comfort and accessibility throughout the weekend.
With the auction being held throughout the day, you’ll want to make sure you’re dressing for comfort. Male guests at Barrett-Jackson usually opt for a short-sleeved button down shirt or a car-branded graphic tee accompanied with a casual pair of jeans or khakis, while women typically come dressed in a blouse or shirt with jeans. For auction days make sure to wear a tennis or casual shoe in case you choose to walk around the show floor during the day.
The only real "dress up" part of the entire event is the Opening Night Gala. For women, we suggest a red dress with stylish, yet comfortable, shoes for dancing and walking about. For men, break out the dinner jacket and button down shirt with chino pants and dress shoes. The goal is to try and wear red at the gala, but it is in no way required.
Pro Tip: If you're planning to go out on the Vegas strip for a night, just wear your gala outfit once again to avoid having to pack two of the same kind of outfit. You'll be thankful you saved the space when packing to head back home.
Weather Forecast in Las Vegas
While most of Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas takes place indoors, you'll find yourself outside at times during, before and after the event. While it's important to dress for comfort while at the show, it's also important to dress appropriately for the weather forecast.
